Harry Friedman
The youngest of Marlene’s siblings, Harry Friedman learned quickly that being spoiled by two loving, caring, indulgent older sisters was a privilege he’d enjoy for many years to come.

After attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Harry worked with his father in retail television sales. Sensing that his true calling was in a far different aspect of the TV business, he moved to Los Angeles in 1971 and within a year was writing for the original “Hollywood Squares” TV series – eventually rising through the ranks to become its Producer.

In 1995, Harry was hired by Sony Pictures Television and now serves as Executive Producer of the two highest-rated shows in TV syndication, “Wheel Of Fortune “ and “Jeopardy!”. His work as a writer and producer has garnered 30 Emmy nominations and has earned him 7 Emmy Awards, the Brandon Tartikoff Lifetime Achievement Award, and a place in the Broadcasting and Cable Hall Of Fame.

Harry and his wife Judy have been married since 1973 and are the proud parents of two accomplished daughters, Amy and Leslie. Amy, who manages the CW Network TV websites, is married to Dax Shelby, and their 2 year-old daughter, Ayla Marin, bears a middle name chosen to honor Marlene’s blessed memory. Leslie lives in New York City where she is a successful personal trainer.
